Laser Hair Removal
Shave the treatment area carefully 24 hours before your appointment. Arrive with clean, dry skin and do not apply lotion, cream, oil, or deodorant to the area being treated.
Contraindications
Laser treatment must be postponed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, after recent tanning, or when the treatment area has open or broken skin, active irritation, infection, sunburn, or cold sores. Before treatment, tell Miranda about all medications, recent procedures, photosensitivity, or a history of abnormal or keloid scarring.
Aftercare
- Mild redness or swelling can be normal. Use a cool compress if needed.
- For the first 24 hours, avoid hot showers or baths, saunas, swimming, strenuous exercise, and fragranced products on the treated area.
- Avoid direct sun and tanning. Use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ on exposed treated skin.
- Between sessions, do not wax or tweeze. Shave only after the skin feels comfortable.
- Contact us if you develop blistering, scabbing, pigment changes, or a severe or prolonged reaction.
